Project Overview

First Chinese Baptist Church of Phoenix (FCBC Phoenix) is a vibrant, multi-generational church serving both English and Chinese-speaking communities. With more than 60 years of history, FCBC is Phoenix's oldest Chinese congregation.

Their previous website struggled with consistency and lacked a clear brand identity, which made it difficult to engage new visitors and serve existing members. They needed a modern, inviting, and user-friendly site that reflected their welcoming spirit, strengthened credibility, and made it easy to access sermons, events, and service times.

My Approach

  • BRANDING & DESIGN — I carefully selected fonts, colors, and visual styles that would reflect FCBC Phoenix’s identity as a welcoming, professional, and community-focused church. My goal was to create a design that felt warm and approachable, while still maintaining credibility and reflecting their history.
  • CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT — I built the site on Webflow with custom layouts, interactions, and animations to bring the design to life. I integrated features like dropdowns, timeline, map, and visual graphs to add both character and functionality, making the site more engaging for visitors.
  • EASY USER NAVIGATION — I structured the site with clear, intuitive navigation so that anyone — whether a first-time visitor or a long-time member — could easily find service times, sermons, events, and ministry details.
  • CHURCH INFORMATIONAL LAYOUT — I organized all the essential church information, including ministries, leadership profiles, and community resources, into a clean, visually appealing format that encourages exploration without feeling overwhelming.
