Project Overview

TOT Nail Supply is a rapidly growing nail product distributor serving salon owners, technicians, and resellers nationwide. With a product catalog spanning hundreds of SKUs, the business needed a scalable, efficient online store and backend system to support growth, streamline operations, and improve the customer experience.

When I began working with TOT Nail Supply, their systems were limited by Shopify’s out-of-the-box capabilities, and their inventory, shipping, and quoting processes were heavily manual. Their customer-facing website and backend operations were redesigned and optimized to create a foundation for nationwide expansion while maintaining the personalized service TOT is known for.

My Approach

  • E-COMMERCE PLATFORM CUSTOMIZATION — I built the site on Shopify and implemented custom code and setup to support both retail and wholesale transactions. This meant creating custom rules for pricing, minimum order quantities, and account access so customers could shop seamlessly no matter their needs.
  • WHOLESALE QUOTING WORKFLOW — I built a hybrid quoting process that blends in-store service with backend efficiency. By connecting Shopify draft orders, custom quote templates, and Cin7, I made it easier to generate quotes, speed up approvals, and move orders into fulfillment faster.
  • SHIPPING & LOGISTICS IMPROVEMENTS — I configured shipping to handle everything from small parcels to LTL freight. This included mapping SKUs to the right packaging, setting up reliable methods, and working directly with carriers to cut costs while ensuring consistent nationwide delivery.
  • SCALABILITY & FUTURE-PROOFING — I designed systems with growth in mind, making sure TOT Nail Supply can roll out new products, expand warehouses, and scale wholesale distribution—without disrupting day-to-day operations.
